Support öܲԻ
Annual gifts provide vital operation and programming support that makes öܲԻ’s distinctive educational experiences possible for Lawrence students and the general public.
Swedish for "Birch Grove at the Lake" or "Birch Forest by the Water,” öܲԻ vid Sjön is AV’s 441-acre North Campus.
A sanctuary of peace and contemplation, öܲԻ resides in picturesque Door County, Wisconsin and features meadows, woods, and more than a mile of unspoiled Lake Michigan shoreline. It is also home to a magnificent two-story lodge, a handcrafted wooden chapel, and a variety of other facilities available to the Lawrence community, as well as the public, throughout the year.
Bequeathed to the university in 1963, Donald and Winifred Boynton’s beloved summer home now advances Lawrence’s commitment to challenging and illuminating education experiences. The idyllic second campus offers student-faculty weekend seminars and public adult-education seminars. öܲԻ also sponsors educational trips around the world.
